It’s with great sadness ~

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of my boots.

My boots – a pair of Asolos – walked my first Camino, the Camino Frances. They are three years old, and I estimate they’ve tramped about 4,000kms.

Finally though, they’ve carked it.

IMG_1316 IMG_1317

They’ve been sturdy, robust, and trusted friends.
They have taken me wonderful places.
They have done so largely blister free.

And tonight, I will reverentially place them in their final resting place –

– the garbage bin.

Today I received their replacement – a pair of Meindl, from Germany. I have a pair of full leather Meindls for when I walk my Caminos, but these are lighter and better for training, particularly on roads and hard surfaces.

I got them from Cotswolds Outdoors, a UK based online hiking company that does good prices, with fast and cheap freight.

So I am about to begin a new friendship with my new boots. They are a little stand-offish at the moment. A little stiff, a little reserved, not ebulliently friendly like the Asolos.

But that’s the difference between Germans and Italians, I guess.

This is how intuition works ~

Okay, it’s Sunday morning here in Australia and I was about to go out on my walk.

On Sundays, I usually do my 20km walk, but my knee has been niggling me lately so I decided I would do my shorter 15km walk.

I really didn’t want to – I wanted to do the longer walk – but I felt I should do the sensible thing and give my knee a bit of a rest. (The last 5kms on the 20km walk is usually tough.)

It was cold here – 2 degrees C – so I put on the requisite four layers and prepared to go out. I got my iPod, because I always listen to books as I walk, and noticed that the battery was completely flat.

This was odd, I thought.

I’d fully charged the battery only two days earlier, and had barely used it since. How could it have gone flat?

I wanted to go out straight away, and not wait to recharge the battery, so I decided I would listen to my book – John Steinbeck’s To a God Unknown – on my iPhone, via my Audible app. However, the book wasn’t on my Audible app.

This was odd too.

Why wasn’t it on the app? It was in my Audible library, it was on my iTunes, why wasn’t it appearing on my app on my iPhone?

This meant I couldn’t finish the book, not on this walk. Not if I wanted to use my iPhone to access Audible. So I then began to scroll through the other books I could read – and I came to James Van Praagh’s book, Heaven & Earth – Making the Psychic Connection.

James is someone I’ve interviewed for my intuition film. He gave me a wonderful interview, and we spent several hours talking in his beautiful house on the beach in Southern California.

I didn’t know what the book was about, other than psychic connections, but it “called to me” so I decided that it would be the book I would read on the walk.

Then I noticed that the listening time of the book was 3hrs 18mins. Usually I do my long walk, the 20km walk, in about 3hrs 15 minutes, and so this immediately told me that I should do the longer walk, that way I’d be able to listen to the book in its entirety.

I began the walk, and began listening to the book, beautifully narrated by James, and suddenly realised that it was about intuition. In fact, it turned out to be about more than just intuition – but it was what I needed to hear right at that moment.

In a couple of weeks I go back into the editing room on my intuition film, and tomorrow I get back into writing the script. So it was absolutely what I needed to hear – more so than the Steinbeck book. It was a far better use of my time.

So through the iPod battery mysteriously going flat, and my Steinbeck book mysteriously not being on my iPhone Audible app, I was directed to a book that I needed to listen to, in order for me to progress my film on intuition.

Coincidence?
Nup.
No way.

In documenting stories like this on this blog, some of you might think that I’m trying to draw spiritual certitudes out of ordinary every day occurrences.

That I’m making a big deal out of nothing.

You can think that.
And you can walk through your life and not see the signs all around you.
Let me tell you – they’re there, waiting for you to see.
Waiting for you to awaken.

The more I go into this stuff, the more I’m given assurance that I’m on the right path.

By the way, the walk turned out to be glorious. The knee gave me no pain, and I walked swiftly and effortlessly, buoyed by James’ wonderful book.

A channel, a channelling, a new awareness…

I was led to Amanda Guggenheimer.

She’s a channel – and an amazing one.

She lives in amongst beautiful forests in the Dandenong Ranges at the back of Melbourne, Victoria – and a friend, Peter Warren, led me to her.

This is now how my life works.
I’m guided.
And I don’t resist anymore.
I’ve learned not to.
I’ve learned to relinquish control.
To yield, as Amanda would say.

Her story is remarkable.

After a turbulent adolescence, Amanda at age seventeen retreated into the wilderness to train under the guidance of a very experienced channel. At the age of twenty-two, after completing her apprenticeship, she began channeling professionally.

She’s written several books, two of which I’ve read – The Light-Worker’s Companion, and The Channel’s Companion.

(These links above take you to Amazon, where you can buy the books.)

The books have been a revelation for me. They’ve explained so much. They’re accessible, written simply, but it’s very apparent that they’ve been channelled because they’re technical. They’re like handbooks.

For me, right now at this point in my life, I’ve found them to be incredibly useful. They’ve helped me join so many dots. And yet I know there’s still so much to learn. I’m still very much on trainer wheels.

One of the things that’s been a huge revelation to me is the concept of a personal “hierarchy.” What’s a person’s hierarchy? Here is Amanda’s definition:

“Every person on Earth belongs to a hierarchy. A human being is either a member of one of the original twelve hierarchies that established the Spiritual Hierarchy for Earth or from a hierarchy that joined Earth at a later stage in her development. One’s hierarchy is constructed of geometric light designs and sound, which houses and organises the many parts of one’s soul that one’s soul has chosen to send to Earth and other planetary worlds and realms for experience. One’s hierarchy, while participating in the grand assignment to restore Earth to the light, is connected to the Spiritual Hierarchy for Earth and the planet Earth herself.”

Here is a diagram, from The Light-Workers Companion, of a hierarchy.

Screenshot 2016-07-19 09.21.12

Notice the little stick figure right down the bottom of the diagram?
That’s you and me.
Our corporeal being.
Our human being.
See how inconsequential we are in the whole scheme of things?

During the course of my making my film on intuition, I’ve had the privilege to meet some extraordinary mystics and channels. Caroline Myss springs to mind – and Dr. Norm Shealy, and Michael Tamura and James Van Praagh. And of course Lee Carroll, who channels for Kryon. These are remarkable and gifted people.

I regard Amanda as their peer.

She is a shy reclusive young lady. She lives with her family in a beautiful house in the Dandenongs, and last week Jennifer and I went and visited them. They live amongst the trees, they’re vegetarians, and whilst not being rigid about it, they try to eat only organic produce, a lot of which they grow themselves.

They are very sensitive to energy and eschew wifi and mobiles, where possible. It’s a life of wonderful simplicity, and yet they are very much connected to the real world. Amanda has a thriving business doing channelling work for clients all around the world. She’s  normally booked up two months ahead.

She’s a strong advocate for connecting with nature as a means for spiritual growth and healing. This comes through very strongly in her first book, The Light-Worker’s Companion, where she details various nature spirits.

I did a ninety minute interview with Amanda for my film. It was wonderful. On several topics she gave me quite a unique viewpoint. Later, she told me that after the interview, she felt a lightness – as though by talking with me she had fulfilled a longstanding contract – an agreement.

Amanda has promised to help me with the film, and with my personal growth, in any way she can. She is very generous. She has now done three channellings – two for me, and one with Jennifer and myself. She channelled Saint Germain and Archangel Gabriel. I was given information which I regard as very beneficial.

Do you believe this stuff? Do you believe in channelling, and spirits, and Ascended Masters, and angels?
You don’t have to.
I believe it.
Over the past two years filming around the world, I’ve seen things, read things, heard things that simply must have come from other realms. There could be no other way.

And remember, I started out a skeptic.

I’m currently reading John Steinbeck’s To a God Unknown. I came across this passage yesterday: There are some things won’t stand reason, but are so just the same.

Here is a simplified version of a person’s hierarchy, inclusive of the various levels and dimensions…

Leaning against trees ~

Lately, I’ve taken to leaning against trees.

Not just any trees – but old gnarly trees.
Tall magnificent trees.
Trees that look like they’ve been there forever.

Trees with spirits.

I lean against these trees to get my spine as close as possible to the trunk of the trees – to get the energy of the tree, the spirits in the tree, into my chakras.

I’ve finally gone totally woo woo, right?
Maybe I have.

I would like to clarify – I’m not a tree hugger, I’m a tree leaner.

I look at some of these trees and I just know there are spirits within. Spirits with wisdom, spirits that can heal, spirits that can speak to me, if I listen.

Why not?

It’s something many indigenous peoples believe. They believe there are spirits in the rocks, and mountains and rivers and seas, too. That the earth is alive with spirits.

And spirit.

This is what I believe too.

So most days I walk. And where I live, in Mudgee, it’s a three minute walk to a magnificent park by a river – the park is full of old wise trees – and then it’s a ten minute walk before I’m out in amongst the vineyards, and the bush, where there are some glorious stands of very old white River Gums.

Often I see kangaroos, always I see flocks of beautiful native cockatoos and other birdlife. It fills me up, each time I go out for a walk.

Most days I walk at least 10kms, some days 15kms, and on Sunday’s 20kms. This kind of mileage takes time, and so being a person who doesn’t like to waste time, I listen to audiobooks. In this way I’ve “read” many of the classics – Dickens, Wilkie Collins, Herman Melville, the Bronte sisters, and so on – as well as Graham Greene, Hemingway, John le Carre, Ray Bradbury – and most of the Booker prize winners.

But my taste in literature is wide. I also try to read what’s in culture, so I’ve “read” all of the Twilight books, the Hunger Game books, and I managed to get through the first of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” books. That was enough for me. I got it…

I read the Game of Thrones series though in book form. George RR Martin’s writing can’t be fully appreciated in audio form. His use of language is so delicious to read off the page, and the storytelling is too complex. Same with JK Rowling and the Harry Potter series.

I digress.
What has this got to do with me leaning against trees?

Books carry a vibrational energy – from the energetic Creative Will of the author, which, if written in truth, comes from the Creative Source. A book really sings to you when that energy is in harmony with your own energy at that time.

A while ago I shifted from fiction to non fiction – both in what I read read, and what I listened-to read. In particular I’ve been doing a big catch-up on esoteric literature. There is so much for me to learn. It’s a whole new field of study.

But now and then I still like to read a good work of fiction.

I was about to go out on a walk the other day and I had to choose a new book to listen to. I’d just finished The Heart of the Soul, by Gary Zukav, and I wanted a break from this kind of stuff. I decided I would start the second book in a recent Stephen King crime series – the book was called Finders Keepers.

A lot of people deride Stephen King. They’re snobs. He’s a great storyteller, and a great writer. And I’ve read most of his books. But as I got into Finders Keepers I found myself getting more and more agitated. It just didn’t sit right with me, even though I’d enjoyed the first of the series, Mr. Mercedes. It’s terrific crime fiction.

I realised that my agitation came from the fact that the book, whilst well written and a gripping story, was vibrating at a low energy point. And I was needing something of a higher vibration. I wanted fiction though, and so on a whim I chose John Steinbeck’s To a God Unknown.

Steinbeck is a Nobel Prize winner. He’s best known for Of Mice and Men, Cannery Row, East of Eden and The Grapes of Wrath. I’d read most of Steinbeck in my early 20s, and he became a huge influence on my own writing. Journal of a Novel, his daily account of his writing of East of Eden, tells you more about the writing process than any college Creative Writing course.

I’d read To a God Unknown more than 30 years ago, and remembered that it had a big impact on me at the time, but I’d forgotten it. And now the book called to me. It was asking me to read it again.

I couldn’t understand why, but I’ve learned now to listen to that voice, and so yesterday I started to read the book again, on Audiobook, as I walked out into the bush.

It’s set in the early 1900s, and it’s about a young man who settles in the Salinas Valley in Northern California – and he comes to believe that the spirit of his father, who has recently passed, has come to inhabit a huge oak tree near his house.

So I’m reading this book – or listening to it – and the synchronicity of it hits me hard. At this point in my life where I am seriously beginning to embrace the notion of spirits in trees, this book comes along, written by one of literature’s great minds, and in a sense Steinbeck validates what I’m thinking about.

I love my life.

It doesn’t pay to be selfish ~

I’m posting this from a New York Times article I just put up on Facebook.

For those of you who follow this blog but don’t follow me on Facebook or Twitter, I thought I should post it here too, because the sentiments expressed are worth considering –

The piece is titled: The Power of Altruism –

*****

Western society is built on the assumption that people are fundamentally selfish. Machiavelli and Hobbes gave us influential philosophies built on human selfishness. Sigmund Freud gave us a psychology of selfishness. Children, he wrote, “are completely egoistic; they feel their needs intensely and strive ruthlessly to satisfy them.”

Classical economics adopts a model that says people are primarily driven by material self-interest. Political science assumes that people are driven to maximize their power.

But this worldview is clearly wrong. In real life, the push of selfishness is matched by the pull of empathy and altruism. This is not Hallmark card sentimentalism but scientific fact: As babies our neural connections are built by love and care. We have evolved to be really good at cooperation and empathy. We are strongly motivated to teach and help others.

As Matthieu Ricard notes in his rigorous book “Altruism,” if an 18-month-old sees a man drop a clothespin she will move to pick it up and hand it back to him within five seconds, about the same amount of time it takes an adult to offer assistance. If you reward a baby with a gift for being kind, the propensity to help will decrease, in some studies by up to 40 percent.

When we build academic disciplines and social institutions upon suppositions of selfishness we’re missing the motivations that drive people much of the time.

Worse, if you expect people to be selfish, you can actually crush their tendency to be good.

Samuel Bowles provides a slew of examples in his book “The Moral Economy.” For example, six day care centers in Haifa, Israel, imposed a fine on parents who were late in picking up their kids at the end of the day. The share of parents who arrived late doubled. Before the fine, picking up their kids on time was an act of being considerate to the teachers. But after the fine, showing up to pick up their kids became an economic transaction. They felt less compunction to be kind.

In 2001, the Boston fire commissioner ended his department’s policy of unlimited sick days and imposed a limit of 15 per year. Those who exceeded the limit had their pay docked. Suddenly what had been an ethic to serve the city was replaced by a utilitarian paid arrangement. The number of firefighters who called in sick on Christmas and New Year’s increased by tenfold over the previous year.

To simplify, there are two lenses people can use to see any situation: the economic lens or the moral lens.

When you introduce a financial incentive you prompt people to see their situation through an economic lens. Instead of following their natural bias toward reciprocity, service and cooperation, you encourage people to do a selfish cost-benefit calculation. They begin to ask, “What’s in this for me?”

By evoking an economic motivation, you often get worse outcomes. Imagine what would happen to a marriage if both people went in saying, “I want to get more out of this than I put in.” The prospects of such a marriage would not be good.

Many of our commitments, professional or civic, are like that. To be a good citizen, to be a good worker, you often have to make an altruistic commitment to some group or ideal, which will see you through those times when your job of citizenship is hard and frustrating. Whether you are a teacher serving students or a soldier serving your country or a clerk who likes your office mates, the moral motivation is much more powerful than the financial motivations. Arrangements that arouse the financial lens alone are just messing everything up.

In 1776, Adam Smith defined capitalism as a machine that takes private self-interest and organizes it to produce general prosperity. A few years later America’s founders created a democracy structured to take private factional competition and, through checks and balances, turn it into deliberative democracy. Both rely on a low but steady view of human nature and try to turn private vice into public virtue.

But back then, there were plenty of institutions that promoted the moral lens to balance the economic lens: churches, guilds, community organizations, military service and honor codes.

Since then, the institutions that arouse the moral lens have withered while the institutions that manipulate incentives — the market and the state — have expanded. Now economic, utilitarian thinking has become the normal way we do social analysis and see the world. We’ve wound up with a society that is less cooperative, less trusting, less effective and less lovely.

By assuming that people are selfish, by prioritizing arrangements based on selfishness, we have encouraged selfish frames of mind. Maybe it’s time to upend classical economics and political science. Maybe it’s time to build institutions that harness people’s natural longing to do good.

-following a spiritual path ~

Sorry for the mess up with the previous post.

I was trying to get this text from Kindle to Evernote to Word Press.

Not a happy marriage.

Anyway, here is what I’m currently reading, in preparation for doing an interview with the author, Amanda Guggenheimer, early next week in Victoria.

Thought some of you might find it interesting – the following of a spiritual path…

******

“When individuals work to create a stable foundation they build a home life and/ or working life, social life and activities so as to keep passion and interest in living. If they have a family, they work to ensure the financial security of the family and endeavour to be helpful and useful in the extended family and community.

For the most part, this is considered a happy life. Why then, do so many people seem unhappy with such a plan? Others, seeing the result of the plan, believe they can safeguard against unhappiness and try to make changes such as earning more money, not having children, travelling overseas, educating themselves or living alternatively in some way.

Regardless of the alterations to the formula, the individual comes to the point where they have established their framework for life but feel unfulfilled as though there must be something more. For some, the awareness of being unfulfilled does not come quite so easily and may follow a personal crisis or trauma. Whether it is a smooth transition into this level of awareness or a painful one, it is here that the individual may choose the spiritual path.

They realise that finding happiness may not be solely based on making changes to external things. A faint urge or calling emerges from within and grows louder and stronger by the day. Those that listen to this calling and allow it to guide their next move find the doorway of spiritual awakening.

Although they may experience fear, they long to walk through that door. There is a level of nervous apprehension mixed with excitement. They can feel that the key to happiness and fulfilment is close. They crave every bit of information they can get their hands on as a way of speeding up the awakening procedure.

Messages may start to come in dreams or through interesting people who cross their path. Where they used to walk around with eyes closed, now they insist on having them open. As a result, they begin to notice the many signs the universe sends them every day. These signs contribute to awakening, connecting, reminding and teaching the initiate.

Their Higher Self gently makes its presence known and the initiate begins to realise that there is more to them than their external measure. The initiate is in fact a spiritual being in a human body, awakening to his/ her true nature.”

From “The Light-Workers Companion” by Amanda Guggenheimer

Tests ~

We get tested every day.

I know I do. Now that I see what’s going on.
And most of the time, I fail these tests.

It might be a test of generosity.
Or kindness.
Or anger.
Or compassion.

What happens is that you are confronted with a situation that tests your reaction.
Your response.

Will you act out of love, or out of fear?
Which often manifests in anger or contraction.
Greed is contraction.
Selfishness is contraction.

Someone cuts in front of you while you’re driving. Do you yell and honk your horn and curse? Or do you react with calmness, and wonder what sort of a horrible day that driver must be having. Or why they might be so impatient. And you hope their day improves.

That’s a test.

Someone in a shop treats you rudely. You’re Asian. Or an ethnic minority. You immediately feel that they’re treating you disrespectfully. They’re being tacitly racist.

You raise your voice.
They raise their voice.
Soon you are both shouting.

You failed the test.

Instead, perhaps you could have responded with understanding and kindness. Perhaps the shopkeeper wasn’t being racist at all, but was just having a bad day. Perhaps they have personal problems. Perhaps he or she is feeling enormous pressure from their bank, or maybe their child is sick, or their landlord is forcing them out of the building.

If you’d responded with a smile, and with understanding, you might have made their day a little better for them.

If you look at these everyday incidents and situations as tests, put in front of you to give you an opportunity to grow, then suddenly the world becomes a lot more interesting.

And a lot more interactive!

Here’s the thing – if you fail the test, they will test you again. And again. And again. You will be given many more other opportunities to grow. Because that’s why you were incarnated into this lifetime. That’s your purpose here. You think it’s to pay off your mortgage and ride around in a nice car and have dinner parties where you trot out your vintage wines and tell everyone about your last trip to Venice?

It’s more than that.
Much more.

Some of us go through our lives continually failing our tests.
Some of us gradually “get it,” and pass the test, or tests.

I had a situation last week where I was tested. I only realised later, after I failed.

I got a phone call from a young lady asking me to take wedding photos. I don’t usually do wedding photos – only for friends, which I do for free – but I have a website saying that I’m available for this kind of work, and a lot of people get married in the town where I live – Mudgee – and so it’s something I do on the side, if I’m in the country.

My rate starts at $2K. This young lady told me that she and her fiancé were on a tight budget, and that she had contacted another photographer who had told her he would do it for $800. She had contacted me though, she said, because she loved my portfolio.

She said that they were so short of money that they would pay me week by week, because her fiancé was on unemployment benefits.

I told her I would do it for $1K – half my normal rate, but still $200 more than she was hoping to pay. But she seemed happy with my quote, and said she’d get back to me.

I never heard from her again.

I should have done it for her for free.

If they were doing it that tough, I really should have done it for free. It’s no big deal for me. And they would have had great wedding pics. It was only later that I realised it was a test of my generosity of spirit, and I had failed.

But in a sense, I’d also passed.

Because in realising it was a test, and realising I’d failed, I’d taken the first step towards passing the next time I’m tested.

That’s the thing about these tests. They will keep coming at you until you realise, and in realising, you hope that you will be more self-aware next time around, and you will pass.

And then you will be given another new test!

Caroline Myss on Orlando ~

Caroline Myss features in the film I’m currently making on intuition.

If you don’t know who Caroline Myss is, or rather, Dr. Caroline Myss – well, she’s probably the most famous medical intuitive in the world. Her books on healing, sacred contracts, and archetypes have become best selling classics.

Her workshops all around the world are immediately sold out as soon as they’re announced. She is a fiercely intelligent, eminently scholastic and highly articulate woman.

She is a genuine mystic.
And I’m very proud to have her as part of my film.

I was checking out her blog today and thought I would post her piece on the massacre at Orlando. Here it is:

*****

If ever grace was needed, it is now. Orlando 2016

Hi Everyone,

Who is not thinking of the Orlando massacre today? And what is it that can be said to calm the fires that are now burning in our minds and souls? I am sure that most if not all of you have read the posts of people expressing their horror, their sympathy, their outrage at yet one more incident of mass killing, now so familiar to this country.

And once again – yet again – that endless debate ensues: Is it the guns that kill or the people holding the guns? Seriously? I don’t even want to comment on that NRA spin tactic. I am wondering this morning if this killer was himself a repressed homosexual who, according to his ex-wife, was brutal and abusive to her. Filled with self-loathing about his own sexuality and raised on yet another religious creed promoting archaic sexual ideas, he imploded.

Claiming allegiance to ISIS seems a logical cover-up, but who knows? Could be – and it could also be typical of someone who, lacking self-esteem, he identified with a violent, vengeful power group. I don’t know. No person is that simple. But how tragic for this country if – and I say if – this was in fact a homophobic act of terrorism and not actually a political one.

We are so ripe with hatred now, so on edge, so ready to strike. That reality explains the rise of Trump – who immediately tweeted his version of, “I told you so,” nearly delighting – actually, totally delighting – in this human nightmare of death and destruction. He sees only political opportunity. Now that is evil. Enough on that.

Obviously I am going to guide all of you into prayer – but not yet. First comes introspection and examination. What is going on here? Why have we become infected with violence, fear, and hatred? And it’s not just us – meaning Americans, although we have are rapidly morphing into a very violent nation.

Other nations are infected with this “spiritual disorder” as well. And while I know some if not many of you will be inspired to respond with posts about all the good that people do, let me acknowledge right now that I see those acts as well. Note the immediate line of blood donors for all the gun shot victims in Orlando.

We will always find people doing acts of goodness and kindness. I wrote a book about that – Invisible Acts of Kindness. I am not speaking about “acts”; I am addressing the energy in the collective atmosphere that we all breath in daily, the psychic field that surrounds us that is growing ever more thick with vibrations of on-coming catastrophe.

Still, I am one who steps back – and even further back if necessary – to widen my inner lens. We are more than the events unfolding in the more. Human history includes more than what takes place on Earth in a single day, though a single day can change the course of human history. It has a million times.

We need to see clearly that we are the engine of the events that happen on our Earth: They just don’t “happen.” Nothing “just happens.” Each of us contributes energy to the collective and that energy becomes the “stuff” that is gathered to fuel or create collective events.

Either we contribute grace or we contribute to the cesspool of “psychic free radicals”, negative thoughts and energetic patterns, that magnetically enhance socially negative ideas. In turn, that builds the atmosphere of social madness and fear.

History is the greatest of all teachers, at least for me. Again and again, the rise of tyrants reveals that they managed to plug into the currents of contaminated social and emotional energy generated by a society when it was most vulnerable. They promised to lead the people out of their misery, only to use lead them deeper into psychic and often actual slavery. Times of change are frightening, to be sure. What do we believe? Who do we trust?

What makes this time unlike any other in history is that we – all of us – have opened our inner selves intuitively and spiritually to a commitment to “trust our own spiritual instincts.” Whether we knew we were doing this consciously or unconsciously, the result is the same. We have become psychically alive and active in our inner landscape.

We have been schooled for a long time now in the higher truth that the world “in front of our eyes” is an illusion. That DOES NOT MEAN that mass murder DOES NOT HAPPEN AND DID NOT HAPPEN. What is DOES mean is that we CAN NEVER BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN WHY IT HAPPENED BECAUSE WE WILL NEVER, EVER HAVE ACCESS TO THE CONTENT OF ANOTHER’S SOUL.

To come to a conclusion that we know why someone did something and that a law can control what is in the minds and hearts of people is utter nonsense. That is illusion. And further, we have no idea what the energies of evolution – of history – are up to. Stand back and observe from a distance. The archetypes in the heavens are throbbing with clues.

Remember that no one has access to the content of your soul – no one. No one can fully, ever know why you do what you do. You hardly know half the time.

What we can know is that all of us – ALL OF US – channel the grace and psychic free radicals that we collectively breath. We create our world together. Our actions individually and collectively matter. These are the teachings we need to practice at every expression of our life. Talk is not enough.

If we oppose gun violence, act on that opposition – and more than just through email. Stand up to passive, cowardly politicians. Act on your beliefs. Just as with healing – an email will never, ever heal you. Healing requires action on every level of your life. Talking your beliefs is no longer enough. It means nothing and it does nothing. Either you act with integrity in the world, speak with integrity and live your beliefs fully – or you don’t. And it’s time you fully grasp that there are energetic consequences to the collective with every choice you make. And that goes for all the rest of us as well.

It is not enough for me to speak about healing or mysticism. I need to teach it, write about, and direct my trips to places that I know are sacred. I could have just as easily created a trip to Greece or England or the Amazon but I deeply believe that the time calls for a journey to a sacred place, Medjugorje and Croatia. These are extraordinary times – in all ways.

All religions offer prayers of protection and for good reason. Psychic free radicals is a way of describing a dark energy. It’s real. Ask any physician. They exist “in” your body and believe me, they exist around your body. This is Mysticism 101.

Prayer: Hover over me, Lord, and over humanity. If ever grace was needed, it is now. Surround this tiny planet of life with Divine Light. It is shaking in fear and exhausted with acts of violence. We are on the verge of losing our humanity. We have come close before and we cannot go there again.

Hover over all of us, Lord.

My most viewed post: Today I woke at 4:44

I don’t often go into the analytics section of this website.

But every now and then I’m curious as to what people are looking at. And I discovered something quite interesting – that the post that gets the most number of regular views is one I posted nearly two years ago, on July 7th 2014 –

Today I woke at 4:44

I have no idea why this gets such regular viewing –

Certainly for me, that morning I woke at 4:44 effectively changed my life. It’s what kicked me into gear to make my film on intuition. And it forced me to acknowledge that there’s more going on than I had previously been aware.

It was the start of my “waking up” to this spiritual world that’s out there rooting for me –

Guiding and protecting me.

You have the same mob rooting for you, too. And they’re constantly trying to tap you on the shoulder and let you know they’re there.

For me, it was that dream, and those numbers.

4:44

TODAY I WOKE AT 4:44

How does the Universe connect with you? Prod you? Encourage you?

Guide you?

It does so in a variety of ways, and one of those ways is the use of numbers.

The startling use of numbers.

I’ve been troubled lately. Soon I will be starting filming on PGS – INTUITION IS YOUR PERSONAL GUIDANCE SYSTEM. My plan is start filming in India, then go across to the US and film there. I feel very strongly that I need to get this film going.

But I will be taking a financial risk starting when I believe I should start. And that’s been troubling me. I’ve been wondering if I should delay, and wait till all the finance locks in.

Last night I dreamt vividly. In my dream I saw myself equivocating – questioning whether it was the right thing to do, to commence filming in September. And then my dream took me to an image of several computers, lined up one beside the other, all connected by cables.

And I knew immediately what this was. This was an image of how the Spierig brothers made their first film – a very inventive film which they made at home, in their spare time and on their own dime. They didn’t have the money for a powerful computer to do all the film’s digital imaging work, and so they cobbled together a bunch of cheap home computers which, in series, gave them the computing grunt to do what they wanted to do.

The resultant digital work was brilliant, the film got made and it launched their careers.

I woke up immediately with the very clear message that I had to get on with it. That I had to do what I intend to do. That I shouldn’t equivocate. I shouldn’t have doubts. Everything will work out.

Then I looked across at the bedside clock, and it was 4:44.

It hit me very powerfully.

4:44

I quickly googled: “What does 4:44am mean?” And this is what I read:

444 asks that you pay attention to your intuition and inner-wisdom as your connection with your angels and the angelic realm is very strong at this time.  You are encouraged to continue on your current path as your drive and determination will lead to success and fulfilment.

444 is a message that the angels and Archangels are with you, encouraging and guiding you. They are offering you positive energies, inner-strength and
support to enable you to get the work done that you need to.

They know and understand that you have been toiling diligently towards your goals, and encourage you to continue on your current path to achieve the success and results you desire. Use your strong connection with the angelic realm to your benefit and be open to their promptings and messages.

Listen to your intuition and follow its guidance.

444 is a message that you have nothing to fear in regards to your life, work and Divine life purpose and soul mission. When you take positive action towards your highest intentions, aspirations and goals, the Universe works in your favour and helps you to establish solid foundations and advance you along your path.

Know that the angels surround and support you, encouraging you to keep up the good work you have been doing.

Do I believe in Angels?

Damn right I do!

Do I believe that the 4:44 on the clock was a sign?

Damn right I do!

I’ve been told clearly that I’ve got to stop doubting and get on with it…

Do ~ ?

I’ve been guided to a very important book, and I know it’s for me right now because I answer an emphatic “yes” to all the questions it poses in its preface –

Do –

  • Topics such as philosophy, metaphysics, religion and spirituality call you now more so than ever before?
  • You crave reading material and in depth discussion on the above issues?
  • You have thought-provoking, insightful, futuristic or even disturbing dreams?
  • You experience a strange lethargy at unusual times of the day as though someone has unplugged and then plugged you in again?
  • Some friendships seem no longer compatible?
  • You have a lack of interest in pushing forward to keep up with the Joneses?
  • You have a desire to be in nature?
  • People and literature keep appearing that relate to personal and spiritual discovery?
  • You crave time alone or with genuine and loving people only?
  • You find that communication is becoming increasingly more important to you, yet at the same time recognise challenges in truly connecting with others?
  • You find that your body is going through shifts that are hard to explain?
  • You talk to a higher power, or guiding spirit more frequently now than before?

The preface goes on to state:

If you answer yes to most of these ‘symptoms’, welcome, you are awakening to your true destiny… As a Light-Worker you have agreed to awaken earlier than many, to pave the way, to clear debris from the path. This handbook has been designed to aid you in your task.

The book is written by an Australian channeller named Amanda Guggenheimer, and the book is called The Light-Workers Companion.

It’s a technical book – and fascinating. And I’m learning so much.

I called Amanda yesterday to say hello, and she said to me: They’re here with me now. Do you want me to channel?

How could I refuse?

And so for the next half hour she channeled my guides, and told me stuff that was very very helpful – particularly concerning my film. It was amazing. Later she sent me an email with a link to a recording she made of the channeling.

I  offered to pay her but she resolutely refused.

Here below is her book. If you say “yes” to the majority of those questions above, I suggest you buy it.
