  1. Love that blue door and even more so with this expanded view with the packing cases, etc and the stairs 😎 Enjoy your last day with this lovely group.

    • Many thanks Greg. Shot M (manual) otherwise couldn’t have got this effect. Finisterre shots will hopefully go up tonight my time. We didn’t get back to hotel last night till after midnight, then we had a 4:30am wake up call for a 5am taxi to the airport. So little time!!

  2. Love all these photos: the sharp contrasts, the mellow monotones, the storytelling. How did you get that last photo? When I do that, it looks like a mistake and I delete. Your’s looks mystical and emblematic of a pilgrim walking through time.

    • Thanks Kathy! And yes, that last shot is a cracker, isn’t it. Kind of happened by accident. I had my settings on Aperture priority, at f5.6 – and ISO at 800 – and then the shot just presented itself and I pressed shutter release quickly, and the shutter speed was 1/10th – hence the blur and over exposure. I would like to be able to say that it was all planned and thought through, but it wasn’t! But look at Robert Capa’s famous shot of the landing in World War two – that was an accident too! haha
