2. Bill, I would add independence and having your own space – give each other head space and heart space, as well as physical space. Being yourself and following your own goals is just as important as doing things together, IMO.
   This is said after 41 years of marriage.

3. Well my wife and I have been for at least 30 plus years – I have forgotten exactly how long.

   Thank God for the short memory thing – my wife is forgiving and patient with me when I forget the number of years

   Mind you she suggested I take out a larger life insurance policy – I wonder what that means?
