On Friday, after more than a year of editing, I finally locked off the cut of my film, PGS – INTUITION IS YOUR PERSONAL GUIDANCE SYSTEM.
Rishi Shukla, the editor, has done a terrific job.
It’s now a movie – but more than that, it’s a powerful experience too.
I thank my wife and producing partner Jennifer, who came into the editing room for the last few weeks and really made a big impact – as she has during the whole production – but in those last couple of weeks in the editing room she was truly fearsome!
The film now goes into sound editing. Fortunately, I have the best sound team in the country working on the film – Wayne and Libby Pashley and their team at Big Bang Sound.
After sound editing it goes into picture post production. Again I have the best possible team working on the picture – Spectrum Films, run by Josh Pomeranz.
I thank both Wayne and Lib, and Josh, for being such strong supporters of the film.
The film’s music is being scored out of London by a very talented young composer named James Shuar. I think he’s going to bring something very special and magical to it.
I need completion funds to finish the film, so I might launch a crowd-source funding campaign in the near future. If I do, you’ll hear about it!
As for distribution, we’ll be releasing globally out of the US early next year.
I’m excited. It’s now one step closer to getting out there…
… and it’s looking pretty damn fine.

Laurie – it would be fabulous to have the Indian premiere at Parmarth Niketan – especially if Swamiji and Sadhviji are in presence. That would be fabulous!

Let’s keep it in mind–we can make it happen!

Well I’m really serious about that. Both Swamiji and Sadhviji feature strongly in the film, so it would be great to have a screening at the Ashram. Thanks!!

Angie, according to my Fitty Bitty gadget that monitors my sleep patterns, last night I slept 7hrs 39 mins, which is the longest I’ve slept in months. In fact it’s the first time in about three months I’ve slept over 7hrs. Which means yes, the “air” is coming out of me… haha! Thank you for your congrats! love to you and Ken… Bill xx

Ingrid – yes you sure have been a PGS supporter right from the start! I don’t think the film will be ready for Toronto this year, but I’m sure there’ll be a chance for you to see it hopefully before release – a private screening perhaps! 🙂 with love, Bill

Dear Bill and Jennifer, hugs and congratulations and keep enough air and energy around for the next parts of the journey! Fascinating, to hear that it’s not finished, even though the editing has been done. Who knew … sound, picture post production, music … the list goes on 🙂
Good luck with the further funding. Gotta meet up soon to hear more of these details! 🙂

Hi Britta – yes it would be great to meet soon. We’re back in Mudgee again, thankfully, for a bit – but let’s keep in touch about that. And yes, making a film is a very complicated and technical process. Even though we have ostensibly finished the editing, there is another 3 months of technical post production still to come! It’s a long haul! Big hugs mate – bill xx

The Newport Beach film festival opens next weekend. Not sure of the submittal deadline but perhaps you could screen your film here in 2018. Kathryn and I would love to host a party for you at our place!

Hey Michael – great to hear from you! The film will be released globally, but with an “event” premiere most probably in San Francisco early in April next year, so yes, the film festival – if they accepted the film – would be great! And a party too!! Thank you…
